Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0

📌 These Terms of Use govern the use of the platform. The commercial terms of the hotel subscription (pricing, free trial, billing, cancellation) are set out in the Terms of Sale, a separate document. Any substantial change to these Terms of Use is notified by email with 15 days' notice. This is an English translation of the original French Terms of Use (/cgu), provided for convenience; the French version remains the governing text in case of discrepancy.

1. About Staveo

Staveo is a platform published by Marguerite Edongue Moussambani (MMServiceWebDigital, sole trader ["auto-entrepreneur"] registered in France, SIRET: 484 329 958 00058), based in Versailles, France.

Staveo offers two distinct services:

2. Acceptance of these terms

Accessing and using the Staveo platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

By signing up on Staveo, the hotelier confirms having read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use, the Terms of Sale, and the Privacy Policy.

3. Access to the service

Staveo is accessible to any user with internet access. Access and equipment costs remain the user's responsibility.

Staveo reserves the right to modify, suspend or interrupt all or part of the service at any time, in particular for maintenance purposes, with reasonable notice except in cases of technical emergency.

4. Registration and user accounts

Hoteliers: registration on Staveo is reserved for hospitality professionals. By registering, the hotelier certifies being the legitimate owner or manager of the declared establishment and providing accurate information. Access terms (pilot programme or standard registration) and the associated subscription are detailed in the Terms of Sale.

Travellers: searching for hotels and browsing the marketplace do not require registration. Registration may be required for certain future features (alerts, favourites).

The user is solely responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from their account. Any suspicion of unauthorised access must be reported without delay to contact@staveo.net.

5. Hotelier obligations

By registering on Staveo, the hotelier agrees to:

6. Staveo's obligations

Staveo agrees to:

7. Bookings

Bookings are made directly between the traveller and the hotel. Staveo acts as a technical intermediary and is not a party to the stay contract entered into between the traveller and the hotelier. Payment terms (Stripe, Stripe Connect) are detailed in the Terms of Sale.

Any dispute relating to a booking (cancellation, refund, quality of stay) must be resolved directly between the traveller and the hotelier. Staveo may act as a good-faith intermediary but cannot be compelled to refund amounts paid to the hotelier.

8. Traveller marketplace

The Staveo marketplace lets travellers discover and book independent hotels registered on the platform, subject to the hotelier's optional and reversible activation. Staveo does not guarantee the completeness of hotels available on the marketplace.

Information displayed on the marketplace (prices, availability, amenities) is provided by hoteliers under their sole responsibility. Staveo cannot be held liable for inaccurate information published by hoteliers.

Travellers may save searches or activate alerts with explicit consent, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Upcoming features

Certain upcoming features (WhatsApp automation, AI chatbot, loyalty follow-up) are currently in development. They will be progressively rolled out to existing plans and communicated to subscribers by email before deployment. They do not constitute a contractual commitment as of this date.

10. Intellectual property

All elements of the Staveo platform — logo, design, code, text, GEO architecture — are the exclusive property of MMServiceWebDigital and protected under French and international intellectual property law.

Hoteliers retain ownership of their content (photos, descriptions, establishment data) and grant Staveo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform and within Schema.org structured data, for the duration of the subscription.

11. Liability

Staveo acts as a hosting provider within the meaning of the French Law for Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN) for content published by hoteliers.

Staveo cannot be held liable for:

12. Suspension and termination for breach

Staveo reserves the right to suspend or terminate a hotelier's access without notice in the event of a serious breach of these Terms of Use (unlawful content, proven fraud, breach of platform security). Termination conditions for non-payment are detailed in the Terms of Sale.

Establishment data is retained for 30 days after effective subscription termination, then anonymised or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any request for early deletion may be sent to contact@staveo.net.

13. Changes to these Terms of Use

Staveo reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time, in particular to reflect new platform features. Users will be informed by email with 15 days' notice before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the service after the new Terms of Use take effect constitutes acceptance. In case of disagreement, the user may cancel their subscription under the terms set out in the Terms of Sale.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, the courts of Versailles, France shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

For consumers residing in another EU Member State, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their country of residence shall apply.
