Terms of Sale

Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0

📌 These Terms of Sale govern the commercial terms of the Staveo hotel subscription (pricing, free trial, billing, cancellation). They supplement the Terms of Use, which govern general use of the platform. In the event of a conflict on a commercial matter, these Terms of Sale prevail. This is an English translation of the original French Terms of Sale (/cgv), provided for convenience; the French version remains the governing text in case of discrepancy.

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") apply to any subscription taken out by a hotel establishment (the "Hotel") with MMServiceWebDigital (Marguerite Edongue Moussambani, sole trader ["auto-entrepreneur"] registered in France, SIRET 484 329 958 00058, Versailles, France) for use of the Staveo platform. These Terms do not apply to travellers, who do not take out any subscription with Staveo.

2. Plans and pricing

Starter plan — £25 / month
Direct booking website, SEO & GEO optimisation, Schema.org structured data, automatic email confirmations, hotel dashboard.
Pro plan — £42 / month
Everything in Starter, plus priority support and priority access to new platform features.

Prices above are shown in GBP for the convenience of UK/US-based hotels. All subscriptions are currently billed in EUR — Staveo has not yet set up GBP/USD billing with its payment processor (Stripe), so the amount actually charged is the EUR equivalent, confirmed at checkout. Prices are net of tax — VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (Code Général des Impôts). Full feature details per plan, which may evolve, are presented at staveo.net/en.

Each plan is available under two billing options, chosen by the Hotel at sign-up:

The Hotel may change its billing option at any time from its dashboard or by email, effective at the next renewal date. The duration and cancellation terms specific to each option are detailed in section 6.

3. Free trial

Staveo offers two free-trial regimes, depending on the period and the registration method used by the Hotel. Only one regime applies to a given Hotel, determined at the time of registration.

3.1 Pilot programme (active)

Limited to the first 50 establishments registering through the dedicated form (staveo.net/en/pilote), the pilot programme grants 3 months free, with no credit card registered and no payment commitment during that period. Once the quota of 50 pilot hotels is reached, registration for the pilot programme is no longer available; subsequent registrations fall under the standard registration regime (section 3.2). At the end of the 3 months, the Hotel must provide a valid payment method for the subscription to continue under the chosen plan (section 2); failing this, access to the service may be suspended.

3.2 Standard registration (coming soon)

Once the pilot programme quota is reached, Staveo will open standard registration granting 2 months free, with a payment method registered at sign-up. No charge is made during the 2-month trial: the first payment only occurs at the end of that period, unless the Hotel cancels beforehand. Failing a valid payment method at the end of the trial, the subscription may be suspended or cancelled.

4. Billing and payment

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment provider. MMServiceWebDigital does not store any card data. Payment is automatic and recurring, according to the billing frequency of the subscription taken out.

In the event of a failed payment, the Hotel is notified by email and has a reasonable period to remedy the situation (updating the payment method). Failing remediation, access to the service may be suspended under the terms of section 6.

5. Price changes

MMServiceWebDigital may revise its plan prices. Any revision is notified by email with 30 days' notice before it takes effect. A Hotel that refuses the new pricing may cancel its subscription before the effective date, without such early cancellation being treated as a breach of the ongoing commitment within the meaning of section 6.

6. Duration, renewal and cancellation

Monthly plan: no commitment — the Hotel may cancel at any time from its dashboard or by email to contact@staveo.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, with no pro-rata refund for the month already underway.

Annual plan: taken out for an initial term of 12 months, tacitly renewed for further 12-month periods unless the Hotel gives notice of cancellation at least 30 days before the renewal date. A cancellation notified during the term takes effect at the end of the annual period already paid for, with no pro-rata refund — the 2-months-free discount being earned only if the full annual period is honoured.

By Staveo: in the event of unremedied non-payment, Staveo may suspend access to the service after 7 days' notice given by email. Staveo may also terminate without notice in the event of a serious breach of the Terms of Use (proven fraud, unlawful activity).

Upon effective cancellation, establishment data is retained for 30 days, then anonymised or deleted, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Payment for traveller bookings (Stripe Connect)

To receive payment directly for bookings from its guests, the Hotel connects a Stripe account to its Staveo dashboard, under one of the following two regimes:

The Hotel chooses its Stripe connection regime knowingly at the time of activation. Until the Stripe connection is active, booking payments temporarily pass through the Staveo account before being paid out to the Hotel, under the terms set out in its hotelier dashboard.

8. Marketplace commission

As of the date of these Terms, no commission is charged by Staveo on bookings, whether from the Hotel's own website or the Staveo marketplace — the business model relies exclusively on the subscription (section 2). Should an optional commission be introduced in future on bookings originating from the marketplace, affected Hotels would be informed beforehand, and it would not apply retroactively to bookings already made.

9. Commercial liability

Staveo does not guarantee any volume of bookings or revenue resulting from use of the platform. Except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, MMServiceWebDigital's liability under this contract is limited to the total amount paid by the Hotel for its subscription over the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

10. Changes to these Terms of Sale

MMServiceWebDigital may amend these Terms of Sale, in particular to reflect changes to the offering (e.g. the opening of standard registration). Any substantial change is notified by email with 30 days' notice. Continuing the subscription after notification constitutes acceptance; a Hotel that refuses may cancel under the conditions of section 5.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, the courts of Versailles, France shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
